Grammar can be exciting, transparent and interactive. Based on research on cognitive linguistics and cognitive grammar (cf. Langacker 2008a, 2008b; Talmy 2000) this project develops animations of German grammar employing sports metaphors. In such a context of a cognitive version of pedagogical grammar, grammatical structures are explained as meaningful, imagery-based and related to our everyday experiences
(cf. Roche 2013, Roche & Suñer 2014, 2017). Animations on all topics of German grammar (levels A1 to B2) can be found at www.granima.de.
